Akabill Molmen was a Hawaiian artist, ultra runner, photographer and friend of many. He handcrafted thousands of clay amulets for the finishers of the Ultra Caballo Blanco, Born to Run and many other trail running events. We would like to remember Akabill for his friendship and contribution. We miss you Akabill.
Artist Sam Carbaugh created this comic in honor of Caballo Blanco in collaboration with Mas Locos Maria Walton, Josue Stephens and Flint Bordeau.
This is a small collage based on images taken at various times in Micah's life, from his childhood days up until he became renowned as Caballo Blanco, the lone runner of the Sierra Madre and Friend of the Raramuri.

In a spirit of celebration, many communities throughout the world, have formed memorial runs/hikes/walks in memory of Micah’s free spirit, and our shared love for Mother Earth. Together, Micah, Guadajuko and I, enjoyed many beautiful runs throughout the Sonoran desert. So, everyone is invited to bring as many friends to a joyous celebration.
